"Though our hearts are filled with sins, you forgive them all." Psalm 65:3, (New Living Translation)

==========

When we allow ourselves to enter into sin, where is the victory for Satan? In the falling? No! The falling is only the beginning of the end. For Satan, the victory over us is complete when we fail to get up. When we fall, and we stay down--buried in the shame of our sinfulness--then the devil has won.

So where is the victory for us in Christ in our sinfulness? Our victory comes when we confess, repent, and stand up again. For every time we are faithful to confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive us our sins. Every time.

And if we fall over and over and over? Then get up over and over and over. Always get up again and again and again…
In sorrow, yes. In confession, yes. In repentance, yes. In turning away from sin, yes. But also in boldness. In power. In forgiveness. Stand up. Stand up. Stand up! Clean, whole, accepted before the Lord.

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation!" Sin is our struggle--but forgiveness is our victory!
